My Priorities

Students Lead

GISD should be a place where every child discovers their potential and is equipped to articulate their pathway beyond graduation.

Students lead academically:
Every student meets or exceeds academic expectations, with many excelling beyond them. We must maintain a laser like focus on improving academic results in the short and long term.
Students lead in their chosen path after high school:
Every GISD graduate is prepared to confidently pursue their chosen path—whether that’s college, the military, or entering the workforce.

All students have access to advanced career and technical education (CTE) programs. These programs provide essential skills and serve as springboards for lifelong success, equipping students to thrive in the ever-changing 21st-century world.

Staff Thrive

Teachers and campus teams are the ones who ensure students are set up to succeed and lead. To attract and retain top-tier talent, Georgetown ISD must offer competitive salaries that reflect the dedication, expertise, and impact of our educators and staff.

Our district should be a place where talented educators not only feel valued but also have the resources to focus on what they do best: inspiring and educating the next generation. By prioritizing compensation and creating a supportive environment, we can ensure that our schools remain a destination for exceptional talent.

Families Connect

There’s no force stronger than the love and care from parents, grandparents, foster parents, or other caretakers. When families understand their child’s growth, know how to support learning at home, and build strong relationships with school staff, children thrive.

Georgetown ISD must prioritize keeping families connected to their schools. By fostering open communication and creating opportunities for meaningful engagement, we can ensure every child has the support system they need to succeed.

Georgetown ISD is Ready to Grow

As our community expands, we must continue to proactively prepare our school district for the challenges and opportunities that rapid growth presents. GISD needs a comprehensive and strategic approach to accommodate the increasing number of students. We must invest in state-of-the-art facilities, expand infrastructure, and collaborate with local stakeholders to address the unique needs of our growing community.
